Operation of conveyor

Before putting the belt conveyor into operation, the following operations must be carried out

1. Turn on the main power switch and check if the equipment power supply is properly connected and if the power indicator light is on. If everything is normal, proceed to the next step.

2. Turn on the power switches of each circuit and check for normal operation. Under normal conditions, the equipment should not operate, the belt conveyor running indicator light should not be on, the power indicator lights of devices such as frequency converters should be on, and the display panel of the frequency converter should display normally (without any fault codes).

3. Start each electrical equipment in accordance with the process flow, and proceed to the next electrical equipment only after the previous one has been started normally (i.e., the motor or other equipment has reached normal speed and normal state).

During the operation of belt conveyors, it is necessary to adhere to the specifications for the items being conveyed as per their design, and to comply with the design capacity of the belt conveyor. Secondly, it is important to ensure that all personnel avoid touching the moving parts of the belt conveyor, and non-personnel are prohibited from arbitrarily touching electrical components, control buttons, etc. Lastly, during the operation of belt conveyors, the circuit breaker at the rear of the frequency converter must not be opened. If maintenance is necessary, it can only be carried out when the frequency converter is stopped; otherwise, it may cause damage to the frequency converter.

When the belt conveyor stops running, press the stop button and wait for the system to completely stop before disconnecting the main power supply.
